Welcoming Deaf Patrons to Your Library Online
Join Kathy MacMillan for an interactive overview on Welcoming Deaf Patrons to Your Library. Attendees will learn communication tips for interacting with deaf patrons, information about American Sign Language and Deaf Culture, and some basic ASL vocabulary to introduce yourself and help patrons navigate the library.
This workskhop will be held online; a Zoom link will be mailed to registrants in advance. We kindly request that attendees use a laptop or computer with a working camera.
