This is a survival tale mainly set in NYC, when the polar caps have indeed melted and the oceans have swamped lower land. One (loosely defined) family lives on the roof of the American Museum of Natural History….until they no longer can. So they break into the Haudenosaunee exhibit for a long boat to go north on the Hudson River.
