Celebrate Global Dignity Day: Watch Running to Stand Still

"Running to Stand Still" is a documentary that humanizes the immigration experience, focusing on the stories of migrants and their journeys.  The film places real, human faces and narratives on the screen to help viewers develop a deeper understanding of who is migrating to the United States and why they are so invested in coming.  In the context of Global Dignity Day, viewers will be asked to consider how the current treatment of migrants conflicts with migrant rights as human beings to be valued, respected and treated ethically.

Thanks to funding from Friends of the Macedon Public Library, pizza, pop and cookies will be served to participants.  Registration is required to participate in this screening and discussion.
