HSEAD Putz Houses
Come join the Historical Society for Early American Decoration to make Putz Houses, a tradition brought to the US by Moravian immigrants in the 1700s. Now seen as Christmas decorations made in Japan, these houses have become part of the American holiday traditions.
You will get supplies for 2 houses, feel free to bring extras to decorate! Suggested supplies are below.
Optional Supplies:
-Acrylic paints of choice
-paint brushes for acrylic paint (1 for each color, maximum of 3)
-glitter
-glass snowflakes
-glue
-spray glue
-cardboard base for house
-miniature trees, etc. whatever student wants to embellish with. Extra houses will be available free to cut out
-scissors and/or craft knife
