Unearth History: Ebenezer "Indian" Allen In-Person
Join Kevin Proper, Wyoming County Historian for a presentation of the Genesee Valley Wildman, Ebenezer “Indian” Allen. Allen, an early pioneer, British sympathizer, soldier, and early entrepreneur is known as the first white settler in the lower Genesee River country of New York. Ebenezer took shelter with Mary Jemison, “White Woman of the Genesee” during the Revolutionary War. Learn more as we unearth the history of this infamous character! Most suitable for adults. Registration required, beginning 6/15 at 10 am.
