All System Meeting: Optimism 101 Online
All System Meetings are open to member library staff and Directors.
Agenda:
10:00am - 10:30am System and Member Library Announcements
10:30am - 12pm Optimism 101 with Christina Fecio
This session gives you permission to put away those rose-colored glasses and rethink your understanding of optimism. When your mindset shifts from "that glass is half-full (or half-empty)" to "that glass is refillable," your capacity for happiness and joy grows. We’ll discuss Learned Optimism and Realistic Optimism, with specific attention to building resilience. You’ll leave with practical strategies that can be immediately applied to enhance your personal and professional well-being.
Christina Fecio is a problem solver. As an educational consultant, she creates customized professional development solutions to help individuals and teams learn and grow. She comfortably wears many hats, including speaker, writer, and strategist. Most importantly, Christina has a knack for helping people feel valued and understood; she lives by Brene Brown’s motto: “Be awkward, brave, and kind.” You can reach Christina at www.christinafecio.com or connect on LinkedIn.
This meeting and Continuing Education opportunity will be hybrid. A Zoom link will be emailed to virtual attendees that morning.
